Does GiggleDeck use AI?
No. It never calls an AI service and never sends your data anywhere. It plans the book, writes every prompt, keeps your place and builds the PDFs. ChatGPT does the writing and drawing — in your account, on your plan.
Which ChatGPT plan do I need?
Any plan that can generate images — that is the only requirement. The free plan works, with one honest catch: free accounts get a small number of pictures a day, and once you hit that ceiling ChatGPT makes you wait several hours before it will draw again. You still finish the book, you just finish it across a few days, a handful of pages at a time. On a paid plan there is no such stop-and-wait — the allowance is high enough to draw a whole 30-page book in one sitting, cover included. The one thing that will not work is text-only access: you get every word and none of the pages. Image limits change often, so check what your own plan gives you before you start.
How long does one book take?
35 messages for a 30-page book at the default settings — 3 for the words, 1 to lock the style, 30 pages and 1 cover. About an hour of copying and pasting while ChatGPT does the slow part. A 24-page book is 29 messages; the largest, a 60-page one, is 70.
Will all 30 pages really look the same?
Far more than they would by hand, because every image prompt carries the whole style lock — palette to the hex value, line weight, border, lettering. When the chat drifts, the next prompt pulls it back.
What about spelling mistakes in the pictures?
They happen. The prompt tells ChatGPT to read every word back before finishing, and it still slips sometimes. You regenerate that one page. Never publish a page with a typo in the artwork.
Can I make more than one book?
As many as you like. Nothing is counted or metered. Change the keyword and press Build.
Do I have to install anything?
No. There is nothing to set up. GiggleDeck runs on my hosting, not yours. You pay, you get a login, you open it in your browser and it is ready — no folder to upload, no server to rent, no PHP version to check, no database to create and no monthly hosting bill going to anyone. Any current desktop browser will do. The only account you need of your own is ChatGPT, for the pictures.
Are the PDFs ready for KDP?
They are the right sizes: interior at your trim, cover at the wraparound width with the spine computed from your page count. Always check them in KDP's own previewer before ordering a proof.
Can I sell the books I make?
Yes. The licence covers publishing and selling every book you produce, on KDP, Etsy or anywhere else. You may not resell or redistribute the app itself.
Will it make anything other than kids joke books?
Not this deck. It plans one kind of book and does it properly.
Can I get a refund?
No — every sale is final. The
moment you pay, your account opens and the entire thing is in front of you: every prompt, every
blueprint, every edition, nothing held back and nothing drip-fed over weeks. There is no trial period
to run out, because you see all of it on day one — and once you have read a prompt you cannot un-read
it. That is the honest reason I cannot take it back and return the money.
That is exactly why this page spends so long on what GiggleDeck does not do. Read that
section before you pay, and ask me anything it does not answer — I would far rather talk you out
of a bad fit than take a payment you regret.
If something is technically broken, that is not a
refund question. Write to support and it gets fixed.
